For More Than Profit℠ is our deeply human-centered business practice. We discovered that when personal and corporate values align, growth happens in our community.

From our team members to our clients, neighbors and partners, we would not exist without the people in our community – much less thrive and succeed in the ways we have.

Working with our nonprofit partners, we’ve hosted countless in-person and created virtual volunteering opportunities, including unique experiences like our partnership with Samaritas and the Detroit Refugee Network.

Volunteering is a core Rocket value.

Going above and beyond is more than a business model, it’s how we create change. At Rocket, we constantly seek to build more equitable systems and compassionate communities -- not only in the places we work, but across the country and beyond.

All our full-time team members receive unlimited paid time off (PTO) when used to participate in company-sponsored volunteering events. We go beyond this commitment and offer an additional 8 hours to volunteer with 501(c)(3) organizations of the team member’s choice. Team members are also eligible to earn grants that they can donate to a nonprofit of their choice when they volunteer a certain number of hours.

The Rocket Community Fund

The Rocket Community Fund’s driving vision is to simplify complex and inequitable systems to ensure that every American has access to stable, healthy housing. We also support people and practices that provide meaningful opportunities for education and employment.

Through our For More Than Profit℠ model, the Rocket Community Fund recognizes that business and community are inextricably linked, and it intentionally harnesses team member talent, technology, policy advocacy and philanthropic resources to cultivate comprehensive community development in Detroit and across the country.
