Description
As a Treasury Operations Analyst, you'll facilitate daily wire operations including financing loans of varying originations, reconciliation with warehouse lenders and accounts, cash and warehouse accounting and reporting. You'll partner closely with internal and external partners to complete tasks.
About the Role
- Execute daily cash management duties such as coding for warehouse activities, completing journal entries in the general ledger, etc.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on cash positions and cash forecasting
- Monitor and manage the age of the loan pipeline, coordinating with internal teams and/or warehouse lenders as needed
- Allocate loans to be financed each day to various liquidity sources, including follow up regarding any issues related to funding requests
- Monitor, analyze and report on bank fees
- Maintain and validate settlement and wire instructions
- Communicate with internal and external clients for loan-related issues, such as rescinds and returned wires, etc.
- Assist with intercompany settlements and transactions
- Ensure compliance through participation in internal and external audits and monitoring cash management activities
- Adhere to month-end close deadlines for reconciliations of all cash-related accounts and journal entries
- Assist with treasury projects and initiatives
- Assist other teams with month-end, quarter-end processes and ad-hoc information requests as needed
About You
Minimum Qualifications
- Effective organizational skills, including planning and prioritization
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting, economics, finance or another related field
- 2 years of experience in accounting or another related field
- Ability to make decisions and think critically through escalated situations and/or complex transactions with little or no guidance
- Knowledge of banking industry and technical knowledge of bank products
