Description
As a Security Operator, you’ll gather information and take action on any potential threats to Family of Companies (FOC) personnel, physical assets, image, reputation, or other stakeholders while driving safety within the FOC and surrounding areas.
About the Role
- Gather information from multiple open-source locations, including various media outlets, government agencies, and subscription services
- Create, review and edit various reports to be disseminated to leadership
- Calmly and effectively handle high-stress situations
- Manage dispatch console and dispatch accordingly using proper radio etiquette
- Manage multiple email boxes, compose emails, and properly categorize emails
- Assist with camera investigations
- Complete Access Control requests
- Operate analytical and video surveillance systems to identify suspicious behavior and activity in or near owned and occupied properties
- Collaborate with law enforcement partners by assisting with run sheets, badges, radios, and briefings
- Handle, document, and route escalated calls/surveillance requests/concerns to leadership
About You
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to work 4, 10 hour shifts a week; from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays on a rotation or request basis
- Experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related experience
- Experience operating video surveillance systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related experience or relevant level of education
- Experience dispatching security and law enforcement entities
- Certified SOC Analyst (CSA), GIAC Security Operations Certified (GSOC), or related certifications
