Description
As a Senior Business Architect, you’ll play a crucial role in aligning business strategy with solution design. You’ll improve business understanding in their areas, promote best practices and mentor team members. By analyzing internal and external data, you’ll identify key solutions that drive transformation. You’ll document business architecture and translate investment decisions into actionable process and tool designs that support both short-term and long-term goals. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with other architects to establish best practices and governance across the organization.
About the Role
- Advise on strategies, risks and opportunities for tool functionality to optimize solution delivery and business outcomes.
- Analyze current and future business needs, operational enhancements and functional area requirements to identify opportunities for improvement
- Diagram business architectural specifications, such as process models, value streams
- Execute proof-of-concept models and generate prototypes based on extensive research of business and tool field subjects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct trade-off analyses and inform priority of business and tooling requests
- Contribute to decision-making on adapt/buy/create solutions
- Maintain awareness of broader changes impacting business capabilities and tool functionality, including industry trends and best practices
- Collaborate with leadership to support team member onboarding and growth
About You
Minimum Qualifications
- 7 years of experience of equivalent competency in a in a Business Architect, Business Analyst or other solution delivery role
- 5 years of experience or equivalent competency analyzing and enhancing business capabilities, architecture and processes for multiple business areas
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology, business administration or related field
- Extensive knowledge of technology, product and/or portfolio management.
- Expertise influencing, negotiating with and gaining buy-in from stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Expertise using industry-standard process analysis and documentation techniques, such as business process modeling and notation (BPMN), architectural modeling or business capability modeling
- Experience with analyzing and implementing tooling solutions to support business solution designs.
- Experience training or mentoring in a variety of disciplines based on business needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Agile certification
- Business Architecture certification, such as The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) or Certified Business Architect (CBA)
- Experience designing business, technology and process solutions for an enterprise
- Experience working with and implementing ServiceNow SPM in an organization

Colorado, New York City, Jersey City, California, D.C and Washington Candidates Only. The salary range for this position is seventy-nine thousand five hundred dollars to one hundred sixty-nine thousand five hundred dollars. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus and other employment-related benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K retirement plan, and paid-time off.
