Description
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Communications, Marketing, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Business, etc.)
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- A passion for community development and positive social impact
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with financial modeling and analysis
- Familiarity with financing structures and practices
Job Summary
As a Business Development Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Business Development team's objectives. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including operational support, project coordination, financial analysis and event planning.
Responsibilities
- Operational Support: Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and ensure efficient internal communication
- Project Coordination: Participate in high-level meetings, prepare meeting minutes, follow up with partners, and manage project timelines
- Financial Analysis: Develop financial models and projections for key projects and budgets
- Event Coordination: Plan and execute tours, partner visits, conferences, and live event logistics
- Strategic Contribution: Conduct research, distill complex information, and contribute to strategic planning
- General Support: Provide administrative support as needed, including document preparation and data entry
