Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years in continuous improvement, which can include roles not limited to project management, business analysis, portfolio management, product management, strategy, facilitation and instruction
- Led or significantly contributed to large-scale initiatives in multiple areas of the business within the Rock Family of Companies
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial an operations engineering, information technology or equivalent work experience
- Familiarity and experience with more than one of the following methodologies: continuous improvement, lean, business process management, SAFe, Six Sigma, or Customer Experience Method (CEM) processes and tools
Job Summary
As a Continuous Improvement Architect, you'll provide the documented gap analysis between the process, the problem and the desired outcome. You'll create clear, understandable recommendations based on analysis for business and technology to aid in creation of team and system solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work with the business to support the strategic planning, prioritization and execution of process and technology changes, providing targeted consulting and documentation on all process improvement initiatives and projects
- Research and analyze issues surrounding business processes
- Identify functional and performance improvements and work with teams on implementation
- Coordinate and drive communication, facilitate decisions and follow through on the execution of projects
- Discover opportunities to improve our business and stay aligned with our culture by shadowing, interviews, sharing best practices and interacting with our leaders
- Handle multiple projects tying to the same strategic goals (program) and manage the timelines
- Create and document processes by leveraging people and/or technology
- Provide guidance and knowledge to the project team during the pre-launch/implementation phase that support the release of new technology features
- Demonstrate confidence in presentation skills, with a strong classroom presence
- Support the design, development and revision of custom learning materials
- Participate in the gap analysis of incoming learning requests
- Analyze data including marketing and sales research
- Proactively investigate process opportunities that impact Amrock and the Rock Family of Companies
- Prioritize recommendations based on efficiency impacts, client experience and business growth
- Work collaboratively with our business and technology partners to design the future state process/structure and gain alignment for the implementation plan
- Communicate to all areas that are affected by any changes in the business to define takeaways, assign next steps and drive internal follow-up and coordination
- Assist with idea research and communication around the execution of those ideas
- Provide mentorship by proactively offering suggestions and volunteering to help others with projects outside of current workload through participation in team meetings and mentorship, consistently providing candid and constructive feedback to team members, business partners and leaders and being a presence in the room and a go-to resource for business and technology
