Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience in UX writing, content strategy, content design or related field
  • Demonstrated ability in UX writing
  • Knowledge of how content guides users through a digital experience
  • Demonstrated ability to write in a manner that’s clear, concise and on-brand
  • Demonstrated ability in presenting and storytelling, as it relates to the value of content and how to measure it
  • Experience mentoring and developing others
  • Experience in leading projects and mentoring junior content team members
  • Experience recommending and conducting content research and testing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in User Experience, Interaction Design, Communication Design, Information Architecture, Psychology, Human Computer-Interaction (HCI), Human Factors or a related field
  • Understanding of SEO best practices for creating content and writing metadata
  • Experience in mortgage and financial services industry
  • Demonstrated ability in creating compelling content strategy deliverables

Job Summary

As a Senior Content Designer, you'll be well versed in creating content that guides users through the digital product experiences. You'll translate technical language and business jargon into content that makes the best possible experience for users. You'll use the brand's voice and tone guidelines and collaborate with other designers, product managers and engineers to create a consistent experience that helps users achieve their financial goals. Recognized for your skill, a Senior Content Designer mentors their team, helping develop their overall capabilities.


  • Write and edit product content that drives the user experience and search engine optimization
  • Lead the creation and updates for digital products and experiences. Participate throughout the design process in activities including discovery, concepting, wireframing and prototyping
  • Work with a team to translate requirements into design solutions that solve both client and business needs
  • Create style guides and message hierarchies that drive content creation across teams
  • Guide the presentation strategies and recommendations to stakeholders, using expertise and persuasion to influence the product vision and design
  • Analyze content, recommending testing where appropriate, to identify areas for improvement
  • Audit existing content to identify gaps and surface those gaps with partners.
  • Assist junior peers with understanding and completing their assignments
